Sacred Cup

 

cup   kəp/ 

(noun)  a small, bowl-shaped container for drinking from, typically having a handle.

(verb)  form (one's hand or hands) into the curved shape of a cup.

 

Cups have caught my eye for a number of years now.
  Their shape, purpose, color, what they hold is curious to me.
Maybe because I have always enjoyed a warm cup of tea or more recently delved into
the world of coffee - for better or worse.

 

No matter the reason, I am drawn to cups.
They have a spiritual connotation for me.
They are a container meant to be filled and emptied,
sometimes painted perfectly while other times chipped and stained. 

 

Spending time with the Sacred Cup creates an invitation for you to engage with God
around the possibilities of what is in your cup, what cup you hold and more.
